Frames

As we are an independent practice we make a huge effort to stock interesting and unusual frames.
We particularly specialise in designer frames, and the ranges of frames are continually changing.
We stock a large range of Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, Mykita, Lindberg, Nike, Flexon, Calvin Klein, Polo Ralph Lauren, Porsche and many other makes.
We also stock more unusual makes such as Yves Cogan, J F Rey, Kookai, Mayhem, Fysh, Oscar and Fitch, Fitche, Jorgen Vesterby etc.

We stock a wide range of sunglasses, all with full UV A&B protection. These include Chanel, Gucci, Fendi, Rayban, Maui Jim and Bolle amongst others.
Many can be done to your prescription, particularly the Maui Jim, a fantastic range of sunglasses which are polarised, semi mirrored, anti reflection and hard coated, in our opinion the best sunglass on the market!

Lenses

We can advise you on the best choice of lens, and particularly advise on the best choice of frame/lens combination to suit your prescription.
We can offer a choice of many different materials in different refractive indices, lens type, whether single vision bifocal or varifocal.
We specialise in the new 'free form' varifocals which are individualised to your own facial and frame measurements, these lenses offer very little peripheral distortion compared to other varifocals.
Advice will be given on the best coatings for your lenses, the 'glacier' coat we offer is anti reflective, hard anti static and clean effect! Also the latest transitions VI lens in grey or brown is virtually clear at night and goes dark very quickly in sunlight, a really superb lens.

As an Independent Opticians we can offer any make of lens, but our preferred supplier is Shamir, a small little known manufacturer with production facility based in Portugal. Shamir employs over 30 full time scientists in R & D to bring the latest in lens developments to the market.
